The original firm was incorporated on April 1, 1977. The founders attended law school together, each attorney specializing in a different area of law.

In the beginning, we started the creditor's rights practice with a footprint covering four counties in Southeast Wisconsin, collecting on medical bills and utilities.

Taking on national clients triggered the expansion of the practice, and the firm's footprint expanded by opening 24 new branches in 16 years.

Today, Rausch Sturm LLP represents many of the leading credit issuers, major auto lenders, and publicly traded debt buyers, and has expanded our footprint across the US.
